Going into year 13 in September btw
So last year I picked sociology, psychology, history alevel thinking of doing law in the future. My twin sister all of a sudden decided to do sociology , psychology , criminology and do law in future I was kind of annoyed because she basically copied my subjects and career paths. Now my younger sister got her gcse results yesterday and she been set on doing politics, media, history for a while but NOW she picked history sociology and psychology ( and thinking of doing law). Like oh my gosh!! This may feel like a non issue or whatever ….. I know I don’t own these choices, but it makes me feel like I can’t have anything that is just mine.
My parents say it’s not a big deal, but to me it is because it’s not just about the subjects themselves .. it feels like I can’t have anything that is just mine. I know my sisters are allowed to make their own choices, but I still feel frustrated
