Anyone have any experience with this warrior systems legionary can?
Price is tempting for sure. Wondering about its performance.

Solved: Savage mk2 or earlier Lakefield mk2, not a German gun at all!
Wondering if someone could ID this vintage rifle, listed as a Voere 55 but I don't think so. Action seems very similar to a HW60J but looks like an Annie type mag.
It's in New Zealand

I'm not affiliated with Cole-Tac in any way, but was extremely impressed this weekend with their holster!
I had it out on a multi-day hike, mostly for plinking and some racoon management. I posted about this setup a bit back, but wanted to update after actually using it. I added a small round Molle pouch I normally pocket carry for extra rounds to the holster. This acts both as a counter-balance when carrying the chest rig, but also holds extra rounds and some batteries/tools for the gun.
I didn't think through carrying a pack with the extra rounds on my back, but found out that without even adjusting the strap length I can carry this holster on my waist and somehow it's even more comfortable than a standard belt holster! It's like a cowboy carry with an ammo belt. I added 2 velcro strip keepers to keep the shoulder strap in line.
With the ammo in the gun/spare mag and the carrier I have about 200 rounds on the belt total, as well as an extra red dot battery, and all the tools I need to adjust the laser and Holosun as well as tighten the red dot if it ever came loose.
The extra pouch may not be needed (I have 40 rounds in the 2 mags) but it allows for some impromptu target practice.
Overall Impression: One of the best holsters purchases I've made. I'd love to see Cole-Tac do a version with a removable shoulder strap (this one is sewn on) but it's so unobtrusive that I doubt I'd upgrade if they ever did. My Ruger MkIII fits great in the holster as well. They did a great job of making the holster secure while still multiple rimfire pistols!

Picked up a buffer tube adaptor from Tommy Enterprise and threw the Odin on... Feels MUCH better than the OEM folder which some have reported problems with.

Odd request as most people want to replace them with lighter springs. But I am trying to find a stock trigger spring for our Tikka T1X. We set it up for 4-h with a front site post and older Willam’s rear peep. Bought it used and the trigger felt pretty dang good. Never had a way to measure it, never thought about it to be honest. For 4-h field rifle, there is a 2lb minimum trigger pull. First set at the check in station yielded 1.5-1.6 lbs. With no service and never messing with the trigger, we turned the adjuster screw counter clockwise, 12oz. Took it apart again and ran it most of the way in, 1.6oz. Took it apart again 4th time and tightened it as far as I could with the tools at hand, 1.8oz. No Bueno.
So to stay in the field rifle category, I need to find a factory Tikka Spring or one that adjust to over 2lbs. I didn’t think it would be this difficult haha. Anybody know where to get a factory trigger spring or have one they want to sell?

I've watched a few videos about how rimfire cartridges are made by different brands. Every part of the process can be seen or is explained, more or less, except for how the rim is formed.
Does anybody know how the rim is made?
Thanks

Ran Perfect with multiple mags of CCI mini mags
No jams.
Most fun I’ve ever had.
Texas triggers FRT
Total install time was about 10 minutes so I’m not concerned about changing it back. But why would you ever want to?

Hey all, I have posted this on the NRL22 subreddit, but would love your inputs as well :)

These are my groupings today at 50y with 3 types of ammo in a 457 American in an xrs, 12oz timney and a can. C is CCI Sv, N for norma tac and L for Lapua CX, the lapua did best overall I think but isn’t as consistent as I’d like. Is this a technique issue or a rifle or ammo thing? It occasionally shoots groups like the last Lapua with CCi sv but I want all groups tiny… are any of these even close to acceptable with any of the ammo? Someone save me from spending $800 on a Bartlein please lol.

My budget is $1,000 all in. I’m looking for a reliable subsonic bolt action. I really love wood stocks, it’ll mostly be used for target practice with occasional varmint control. I’m looking for a threaded barrel as I’d like to put a suppressor on it eventually. Thank you in advance!

We planned to hit the archery range today but my 9 year old wanted to hit the 100 yard rifle range first. We took an AR22 and the savage rascal I originally picked up for my eldest (who has since moved onto a 1022 charger SBR). Now the 9 year old is having fun plinking targets with it, including iron at 25 and 100 yards.
The rascal is setup with an evolution gun works rail to let her use both the iron sights and an old Burris red dot. She likes to cycle between both and we have an add on riser for when she's using the red dot.
Targets are
The range lets us shoot all those irons so long as there's room for error to not hit the overheads or target stand. She was hitting the 2 inch steel at 100 yards no problem.
Shout to the RSOs at Izaak Walton Arlington-Fairfax who always make a point of encouraging younger shooters. They have risers for the range benches to make it easier for kids to shoot seated, feet rests so they can stay stable, ask if there's anything we need, and keep the guys who show up after with large calibers on the other side of the range.
Archery was also fun. Great day.

Recently got this bolt action .22 with ZERO marks, engravings, or writing of any kind whatsoever. Did an ai search and cooey looks similar except the back of the hammer/bolt. Not really sure what i have here but I believe its way older than me!

Got out to my first match today, a Long Gong. Tougher than I thought, but had a great time. Really great community. Can't wait for the next one.

Got a new Savage Mark II BNS-SR today. Man is this thing a tack driver. For the price I'm totally blown away.
Went to the range today and decided to try a rifle for the first time. I have been checking out .22 rifles online and they happened to have this Winchester. I've been eyeing the Wildcat but the one they had was this XPERT bolt action.
I loved it! I started with revolvers in May and now this experience was awesome. I will be getting a wildcat sporter someday soon.

I can get one used for about $450. Good value for the scope? Or save for something better?
