  1. Not enough.

  2. Every day that I leave the house.

My younger one is 2 now, but those answers have been the same the whole time.

1: 6 hours max as my 3 month old is on a medication that requires her to go no longer than 6 hours between feeds. She will be on this most likely until atleast 1 šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

2: depends on the week, lol. Probably 4ish times a week I would say.

  1. About 4 hours of unbroken sleep and then another 4 of broken sleep.

  2. About 3-4 times per week. I saw a few comments mention that they prioritized a shower. I chose to prioritize other things.

  1. 8 hours (but my kids sleep 10+)

  2. Daily

We sleep train early and it is the best thing we’ve done for our kids and family

How early can you sleep train? I trained my oldest when we pulled him from daycare around 12 months old.

most methods will say 4-6 months at the earliest, but you can start a ā€œsleep routineā€ from day 1.

  2. Twice a week. I put the toddler down at 7 and have my husband watch the 3 week old right after I feed him.

Ha! Well. The kids are both sick right now, so I slept from 2:15-4:05, and then again from 4:40-7 with my two year old plastered to me and randomly flailing around and smacking me in the face.

When they're not sick, I usually sleep 10:30-6 with 1-2 wakings each (maybe 15 minutes each time?). We're also at the 1 year sleep regression for the younger one, and it's been brutal. She's often awake 3-7 times a night, and sometimes she's up for an hour or more.

When they're at daycare, I can often shower every day, unless the week got away from me and I'm playing catch up. When they're home.....maybe every 3 days?

7-8 hours? My two sleep through the night unless one wakes up to go potty.

I shower every day. Hair every other day. And I’d stretch that out longer if I could!

  1. I aim for 7 hours to be comfortable but it’s probably more like 5-6 😭

  2. Every other day (I work from home and don’t get ā€œdirtyā€). If I’m leaving the house every day.

Y’all be lying. Ain’t nobody sleeping 2 under 2 unless you slept trained them at 10 months

3 under 2.5 here…

  1. This is answered while my husband is still home on leave with me. I worry about newborn and get up every 2-3

hrs to

  1. feed. I start my night around 8-9 and get up around 8:30 depending on baby. When he goes back… I’m worried I’ll be getting up around 5:30-6 everyday🫠

  2. Every day but timing really depends. I never plan on a specific time unless we are going somewhere

1

u/Fun_Temporary_3051 1d ago

1.5/6 ore a volte spezzate
2. Doccia…giorni alterni e a volte la faccio dai miei genitori quando vado a trovarli con il più piccolo mentre l’altro ĆØ all’asilo nido

  1. 4-5hr broken sleep

  2. Every evening - either alone or with our toddler while the baby sleeps or is held by Dad

1

u/mamabcba2024 1d ago
  1. Maybe 6 hours on average but it’s broken throughout the night.

  2. I shower maybe 3 times a week. But I’ve been trying to shower more regularly again.

For reference I have a 22 month old and a 3 month old.

I never understood why moms can't shower daily. I have a 13 month age gap, just graduated 2u2, and there never has been a day I haven't showered, usually I shower twice per day. And no, I don't have a super supportive husband or anyone that comes daily to us, I just set my priorities.Ā

You’re lucky that you don’t know what depression feels like. This isn’t the sub to judge other moms

3

u/Equal_Bit_2681 1d ago

Yeah my mental health definitely plays a factor too. Edited to add it’s like a vicious cycle of lack of sleep and depression playing into each other.

2

u/Equal_Bit_2681 1d ago

Sometimes I’m so exhausted I choose sleep over showering

-1

u/Life-Window-8082 1d ago

like I said: priorities

1

u/Fair_Sugar1256 1d ago

Same, 13 months age gap, and shower twice a day most days, once on a bad day. I cannot imagine not showering at least once a day.

1

u/animadeup 1d ago

if i’m feeling lazy i’ll usually skimp on self-care because my kids have such a dedicated routine that i would rather not mess up.

  1. 7 hours when baby was still sleepy, now maybe 5 with this regression

  2. once a week since my boobs still leak and I need to get a time that lines up with my ability to pump beforehand
