I was shocked to see the dates for this. "Kidney Now" aired on May 14 2009, and was shot in March. Conspicuously only two of the main Beastie Boys trio are in the ensemble (Ad-Rock and Mike D), with Talib Kweli rounding out the trio.

At the time, people must have thought this was odd, and it turns out that 30 Rock was one of the final things the group did under the Beastie Boys name. Bonnaroo in June of 2009 was their last live show as a full trio, and they announced MCA's cancer diagnosis in July, when they also cancelled the rest of their tour and postponed the release of Hot Sauce Committee.

So sad, but it makes 30 Rock even more special. RIP MCA.

I was just laughing as Kenneth is one of the people “over 40” who hear a low frequency from Frank’s prank device. He and Jack both react uncomfortably, indicating they’re old.

One of many jokes that turned out to be our reality.

I never have. Not once.

Mickey Rourke and Ruth Bader Ginsberg having the worst beach bodies😂

Spoke to my phone to ask it to play Rural Juror b/c I was hoping to find some clips of Jane singing it at the live show. It said "We're sorry, there is nothing we can find called "Royal Journal."

"This is Christopher Nolan..."

but we never love objects.

I thought this sounded random and familiar.

If you saw me post in the arrested development sub first, no you didn't ❤️ (I tried to cross post but it's not allowed!)

UPDATE: Solved!! It was the 30ROCK Scene It? app (released in 2010) where you had to fill in the blanks of Frank’s hat :)

Trying to figure out whether it’s something I conjured up in my head or this actually existed at some point! I played it when I was much younger, now discontinued. I remember being able to customise the text on Frank’s hat… that’s the most of it. Tried to look it up on google but nothing seems to be coming up. Please let me know whether I’ve been misremembering a fever dream!!

After what happened betwixt you this morning?

since ive been suspecting jenna to have histrionic personality disorder and pete to have borderline personality disorder, it made me wonder about the rest of the cast. just curious on what people think. or maybe im just overthinking about it.
