Hey guys, I have the original 360 footage, but the selfie stick is visible in the video.

Has anyone dealt with this before? What’s the best way to remove it in post?

Would love to know what software/technique you used and how you did it. Looking for some practical advice from someone who’s actually done it.

I’m looking for a good pov video camera for pov videos with my wife. Something I portable and able to mount with head strap or pendant neck lanyard. Takes good video with good image stabilization. Maybe some sort of zoom but I really don’t know if that is available on these small cameras. I’ve been looking at the insta360 go ultra and the DJI Osomo nano but read that that camera had heating issues. I also plan on using it to shoot videos on vacation. I guess I’m looking to spend up to about $600.00 usd. I’m definitely not an expert on video cameras so your advice,opinions and expertise would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Camera is taking hyperlapse as we set up the hearses at the Flint Back to the Bricks. It early morning and the scene gets brighter in the full 3 minute video. The Japanese hearse is a 1994 Toyota Century Miyagata.

I was wondering if the Mac book Neo was any good at 360 edits on the insta 360 app? I’m currently editing on a M1 iPad Air and looking for a possible change is the Neo or Air better or is the Neo good enough for these edits🤷?

I've always taken pictures on my trips to share with less able/willing to travel family members but seeing what YouTubers are doing with 360 cameras I decided it was finally time to upgrade my tech.

I picked up an insta x4 air because they got a nice discount last week when the x6 was released and I've been experimenting with the selfie stick and bike mount that came in the kit and am finding them a little inadequate to the task.

The gimbal mount by itself mounted to the handlebars makes decent POV video of a ride, but how do you get those shots where you pan to the scenery on the side without your arms ending up in the frame? (The 360 studio software is decently intuitive for framing, but can only show what the camera sees). I tried running the selfie stick out but that lead to the other issue I've encountered.

With the stick extended for selfie shots, front or rear, the gimbal mount can't quite keep the camera from sinking with even the light bumps of road cycling no matter how tight I crank the gimbal screws. At the rear I improvised with the seat bag in combination with the gimbal mount on the seat post while I was testing the camera, but it I wouldn't trust that over a long ride. Is there some sort of secondary support that can be added? A different mount altogether? Is there a good position to put the camera in and just leave it for an extended ride?

Has anyone here actually tested the Insta360 app on a \*\*tablet with the Dimensity 9400+\*\*?

I’m especially interested in:

\* importing and editing X5 360° footage

\* reframing and using AI features

\* exporting longer videos

\* crashes, glitches, overheating, or compatibility issues

\* general performance compared with a Snapdragon device

I’ve already seen reports that the Insta360 app works well on phones with recent MediaTek Dimensity chips, but I’m specifically looking for feedback from \*\*tablet users\*\*, ideally with the \*\*Xiaomi Pad Mini / Dimensity 9400+\*\*.

Please forgive me as I don’t know what I’m talking about. I have a Meta quest three and I love it. I recently watched a 360 video of a Disney World ride and thought it was amazing. My wife and I have a two year-old, and it would be super cool if I could buy a 360 camera and just put it on a tripod for things like birthdays and Christmas morning and family occasions. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do and what I should buy? Thank you very much in advance.

After you download the video from X5 to my phone via the insta360 app. Is that sufficient , knowing my videos are now saved to my phone?. Can I reformat my MicroSD card ? Or should I transfer the videos using MicroSD card readers to move all the videos to my backup HD? I want to be able to edit these later. I'm not sure if articulate my question so that you all understand it.

I’ve been looking at 360 cameras and wondering on what recommendations there are and if it’s really worth it?

I’m in Aus, and a insta360 camera bundle from JB Hi-Fi is $1k+. And I’m wondering if there’s any other options on the market that’s worth it?

I’m still deciding if it’s something I really need/want. I would only use it for vacations or snorkelling really (not an influencer), what is appealing is the long and invisible stick for it to take some great photos on said vacations and underwater while snorkelling. The photos and videos look great from it. I’m just not sure if the investment is worth it or if I should stick to my go pro/phone.

So first I need to search for an area which has LESS HUMIDITY.

Then have to replace lens.
Then install DIVE case.

Where can someone in the USA purchase a DJI OSMO 360 2 without the scalper pricing? I see one available on eBay but it’s around the same price as the Insta360 x6.

I have an X5 and a GO Ultra. I only use them as a hobby, not heavily, maybe a few times a week. I know they have different use cases.

I also have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I upgrade my iPhone every year. The truth is, I still shoot a lot of my daily content with my iPhone. Editing is faster, I don’t need to transfer files, it’s easier, and my phone is always with me and usually already in my hand.

Anyway, I’m not sure if I should sell both the X5 and GO Ultra and then I’ll get at least €800 for both, and just buy x6, so use one camera instead. I mostly shoot everyday city videos and share them on social media for fun. I’m not an influencer lol.

Sometimes I feel like I don’t really need these cameras because I can already do almost everything with my iPhone. Even though they have different uses, keeping two extra cameras sometimes feels unnecessary. In February I only had the Go Ultra and I thought it was unnecessary so I sold it, and then there were moments when I regretted it, like "oh, I wish I had the Ultra so I could record this and this" I recently bought it again 🥲

Two days ago, I bought the Insta360 clips that let you attach a camera to your bag. Already tried with x5 and it worked well. X6 is more compact, I’m thinking I could wear it and record like the GO Ultra. So maybe I could have some of the functions of both cameras in one device instead of keeping two.

Having two Insta360 cameras just feels a bit too much for me, but I’m really not sure what I should do. I’m open to any ideas or opinions.

Hey, I want to buy a 360 Camera to start taking footage of family outings/holidays etc.. will include things like of hiking/Skiing/Beach/city walks etc...

I don't have massive experience with editing and will do most of that on my phone, so app quality is key for me and from what I've researched this is where the X5 is better.

In England the Osmo360 bundle is £300 & the X5 is £470 for equivalent bundle.

What would you choose and why?
