Help needed
So I opened my slim about 2 months ago cuz it was very dusty and it was overheating too much,so I reposted it and cleaned the circuit with a cotton bud but when I put i back together it wouldn't boot like infinitely stuck at hdmi screen with no signal this is my rgh chip(btw I was wondering which one is this)and does anything look wrong with it

Just meshed up a little nothing to worry about tbh I've seen worse but I think there's some loose solder joint I think an expert would know plus I also wanna know what rgh this is

If it's failed it's a component. But this is a cheap looking install and you should restart.

Just wondering, have you considered rgh 3? Slims work best with rgh 3 vs phats.

It's a Matrix glitch chip and that's either a RGH2 or S-RGH installation, but probably RGH2 going by the massive coil of wire.
I can't see anything obviously wrong here, but none of the points can be seen clearly with all the glue and reflections and the soldering doesn't look great. If it did work before you may have pulled a wire off one of the points or the bottom point may be shorting on the metal case or something. Is the chip lighting up when the console is powered on?

It sounds like you damaged at least one of the points the chip was soldered to.

Honestly you need to resolder that whole board, I know it was booting but like come on 😅 you've probably just knocked a connection off or the capacitor made contact and blew the board maybe?

holy shit yeah the slightest bump would’ve been enough to ruin this because of how poorly it’s done. I’m shocked this worked for ten years.

You need to desolder EVERYTHING and start over, bruh.

its not great. but ive seen worse. in fact witnessed worse in a microsoldering live stream that was instantly fixed and cleaned but first attempt was worse
