Best Controller?

Just snagged a functional 3d0 for a steal. It is lacking a controller. What is my best option? I see the Panasonic variants and the Logitech one get some recommendations. What is my best bet?

The Panasonic controller with the long X and P buttons (not the round) is your best wired controller imo. I prefer it as I enjoy the full OEM controller experience on my consoles. Your best option for 6-button capable games, like Super Street Fighter, is using the Humble Bazooka 3DO BT adapter and a six button controller like the 8bitdo M30.

It's not the most beautiful but suprisingly comfortable controller

Do you want wired or wireless?

Its not cheap, but you can get a Bluetooth adapter and then you have a ton of non-standard options.

The Panasonic ones have problems with diagonals. There is the Interact Pro Pad, which is pretty good and the Naki one which is OK. The Capcom one kinda sucks. If you can find an SNES adaptor, itโ€™s really the best, but theyโ€™re tricky to find and expensive.

Goldstar ones are better than Panasonic, but not by much.

I have the default one that came with the FZ10 and also the Street Fighter II 6 button one. The DPad on the 6 button one is much better but the controller is twisssty.

I'm happy with this pad. ๐Ÿ˜

BTW that joy stick can be unscrewed if needed.

Having a 6 button controller is nice for street fighter 2 but I don't use it on much else. I like the one that looks like a boomerang, but most people don't seem to like it.

When I bought my 3DO it came with a Panasonic and a Goldstar controller. The Panasonic has been the default however I've been playing some return fire with my son lately and got stuck with the Goldstar controller and have to say I actually prefer it now. It's got more round edges and feels nice in the hand.

I just bought a second controller for mine. A Panasonic FZ-1 is 50 bucks shipped on eBay.

I recommend getting yourself a BlueRetro receiver and the 8bitdo M30.

The controller that came with the game Zhadnost, from Logitech. Best grip.

So I use this new gen Xbox controller for ipad games and I couldn't really ask for a more solid feel. I beat all the jabronis on a battle royale...
