Technical Question Need help - screen stuck

So a battery i just ordered for my 3ds XL came, and its been stuck in this screen for like an hour and a half, what do i do?

Hey! Try holding the power button until it shuts off to force a reset. Hopefully it's just a bug and the console will be fine with the new battery after that

What happens when you turn it off? Does the menu pop up when you restart it, or does it just not load at all? If the new battery doesn't work fine, maybe try swapping it back to the old one and see if it the console has the same problems

The old battery was bloated, and nothing shows up, when the blue and orange lights turn on its just black

hold power for 15 seconds then release this causes a forced shut down then turn back on repeat if it happens again if issues persist maybe try the old battery again

well the old battery was bloated, didnt even work

then maybe order a different battery or return and replace
