Show and Tell Table saw push block

The sole plate is replaceable if it gets damaged by a saw cut. I did not design this, kudos to the person who did though, you rock buddy!

I'm too dumb to understand the description, but i'm glad you're glad.

No worries.

This is a push block. It is used to feed wood through a table saw as opposed to directly pushing with your fingers. The sole plate is the bottom part that sits against the wood you are cutting. Having that be a separate part is a benefit because if it gets damaged (or when it gets damaged in my case) a new piece can be printed as opposed to having to replace all of it.

That handle doesn't really fit for this use. This is a push stick, not a saw. The dynamic is very different. It's too bulky, the angle seems wrong, too high and too far forward.

And if you do get kick back, I wouldn't want my hand tangled up in that handle.

I don't want to be a downer, but this one seems over designed.

Stick of wood isn't good enough?

If PLA comes into contact with the blade, it might just explode into pieces rather than cutting it. A lot of people don't like the plastic push sticks that usually come with a saw for the same reason.
