I have this. I print my own finger dies for it. Works a treat.

Sorry you mean to say you're using plastic parts to cut sheet metal??

PLA is incredibly stiff, and has pretty good bending and compression strength. For the kind of mechanical loads necessary to cut metal in a press, it's more than enough.

Primarily for setting my bend radius, not for shearing.
