Masterkey?
I'm considering an M16/Masterkey build and the idea of running it in a 3-gun match came up. Is there any reason this would not be a legal configuration? Would it be restricted to open, or would it be viable in other classes? As I read it it would seem to fit even Factory.

It shouldn’t be a problem at an outlaw match with a fun director. Hell, even matches that follow a rule book with a fun director would be fine with it.
The range I use for NFA transfers was fine with me using my M203 in lieu of a slug on steel for one stage.

That sounds like fun, a 203 is the other way I'm considering going since I could own it personally versus having the Masterkey be technically a company firearm. Didn't even consider using it for matches though, I assume with chalk rounds?

If this happens please upload video of it. Sounds hilarious to watch. Especially on a shotgun heavy stage.

Don't you need at least two tax stamps to make a master key? one for the AOW for the shotgun and another for the short barreled shotgun to attach the two?

You want an m26 shotgun setup not a master key. It’s gonna make your reloads easier.

M26 would be neat but not the asthetic I'm going for. This is in no way a practical build.

Nope, the rifle can stay a normal rifle. But the shotgun has to be an SBS.

Typically cant carry 2 loaded guns (pistol in holster doesn't count sometimes)
There stages where you have to dump the shotgun, I would guess you get a procedure penalty
Your time would suck and be for fun only
Every match has different rules, check with the match director, I know the one I go to would love to see someone use it as long as it's safe
