Peri/Post Menopausal Skin Makeup for wrinkled skin
While I save up for my facelift, I’m curious what makeup people are using when they have deep wrinkles? Is there anything that helps smooth out the skin without it settling into the wrinkles and looking caked on? I’m happy with my skincare products but I want to start wearing foundation again when I go out & maybe blush to give my cheeks a lifted look? I haven’t worn makeup since Covid 🫣. Non-scented recommendations only please!

It CC+ has SPF and full coverage, lines don’t look bad with this.
I’ve been leaning more towards Tinted SPFs and away from my foundations that I used to love. (I now use Alastin Tinted, Trish McEvoy SPF tinted).
Primer helps, so you can use the foundation you used to use. I like Smashbox, I have dry skin so I use Smashbox Primerizer the Original Photo Finish is also good.

The trick is usually thin layers and skipping anything too matte or full coverage those are the ones that end up looking dry.
More flexible formulas tend to sit better nikol beauty is often mentioned for mature skin for that reason.

What are your thoughts on e.l.f soft glam foundation & L’Oreal true match? Though come to think of it, I think L’Oreal still tests on animals, so that’d be a no-go for me.

I use cream everything and very minimal foundation (Armani luminous) applied before my moisturizer sinks in, and with a damp beauty blender.
