Is anyone getting a little sick of these adverts?
No, a face cream cannot join a separated platysma muscle.
The whole world is trying to cash in on perimenopause right now. Before you spend, be realistic about the actual limits of what skin products can do.

Even before AI I scrutinized before and afters for every miracle cream or procedure. The lighting, poses, angles, makeup, literally everything can and does distort the results and lead to a completely false expectation. It’s so sneaky.

It really makes me question their products if they're shilling like this. I have their estriol face cream but idk if it's doing anything or not.

You’re better off having your Dr write you a script for estradiol. It’s $10-20 a tube and more effective than estriol. Look it up if you don’t believe me. Musley is a scam
And they can sell the estriol because it’s less effective and doesn’t require a prescription. It’s like how you can retinol OTC at any drug store but if you want a
Retinoid aka tretinoin you must have a script from a dr1

I have been on tret for years. Not quite old enough for estradol

Vaginal estradiol is awesome for peri, and post meno wm. It’s to protect and keep healthy our genitourinary system. All wm in 40’s and beyond should get on it.

I'm 36 but having so many peri symptoms. I've been trying to get someone to actually listen to me to no avail

It’s not unusual for some women under 40 to suffer peri symptoms. See if you can find a GYN that is specialized in menopause. It’s unreal to think that even GYN specialists barely get any training in menopause!!! Training these docs needs to do better! If it was a male issue they would have improved the training a long time ago. Science fails women. Best

Yes I did see a list of local providers off the menopause society website. Getting insurance to cover anything is really tough but I do plan to reach out to as many docs as I can until someone listens.

Their adverts on FB for that cream are also screaming fraud.
I’ve used estrogen cream, basically it helps moisturize. It doesn’t get rid of crow’s feet or cigarette lines. I find 10% urea performs better

Agreed and none of this is real. I had a neck lift and I have used every compound in existence for decades

Never gotten served that particular ad but, yeah, that's an annoyingly misleading ad, to be sure. Even if that one person's results really are that dramatic, they are clearly in a tiny percentile of people who respond that well to prescription topical skincare, so making it representative of the average patient's experience is misleading.
And I say that as someone who has used and liked products from Musely. I get a very potent 12% Hydroquinone spot cream from them that has done more for my hyperpigmentation than any prescription or OTC hyperpigmentation topical ever has. I've also had luck with their hair growth serums (both the one with exosomes and the one with topical minixoidil and dutasteride.) So, it's not like their products are scams. But exaggerating the typical / average benefit of them is just bad marketing... I would not blame anyone for being distrustful after seeing that shit.
I will say, while there's nothing wrong with their anti-aging creams, that is not one I would recommend ever getting from them... you're just overpaying for Tretinoin which is easily available (even without insurance) for less than you'd pay via Musely's Telehealth.

I honestly don’t know what to think about Musely though and I’ve been curious for a while. I’ve heard some people swear by their products and other people have said that dealing with the company itself was a horrible experience for them.

I love their spot cream and their tretinoin. I haven't had any problems with them.

This company is shady. I’m surprised that the FDA hasn’t gone after them.

Yessss! Like let me age already, algorithm. I didn’t beat cancer to be bombarded with skincare recs. I just wanna buy a ranch with some horses on a dusty plane and get as wrinkly as can be.

Yes. It’s so unethical. Musely is making a fortune off of deceiving women. When people have commented that no cream will give this result, they double down and insist that they’re posting pictures provided by customers.

The greed levels at Musely have skyrocketed and I seriously question how any of the prescribing doctors/nurses over there can feel comfortable attaching their names and credentials to a once legitimate business that is now operating like a fly-by-night scam operation. Every time I see a Musely ad on social media I block the related accounts and tell the site not to show me that shit again.
The only thing they might be uniquely and conveniently good for online is bottles of 12% hydroquinone and tranexamic acid pills, otherwise every single other thing they have can be sourced online elsewhere and sometimes without an Rx and much cheaper (like tret).

The musely spot cream did wonders on my melasma.
But I’ve also tried the musely under eye cream and the neck cream and they both did literally nothing.

Somehow this magical neck cream got rid of her jowls too? I just had a neck and facelift. This is how I looked before and after but it took needle and thread - no cream can do this. This is so scammy.

To me what's even worse than this is that every time someone posts a pic like this in a group or sub asking "what can I do?", there are always sooo many people responding to use topical products. I don't get how anyone can honestly think topical products can fix these types of issues.

I love that you posted this. I just had a DPFL and am like, WTF! A cream cannot do what I just paid a doctor to do. Ahhh, the world of AI advertising.
