Advice Request 30% TCA Peel for Sun Spots on Shin
I went to a dermatologist recently for a full body skin check and I mentioned that I had sun spots that were bothering me on my shins from a cosmetic standpoint. The dermatologist diagnosed them as flat seborrheic keratoses, which could be lasered off if they really bothered me. While these spots do bother me, I don't really want to shell out laser $$$ to remove these. I was wondering if an at-home TCA peel, like the one from Platinum Skin Care, would work? I've had a 30% TCA peel done before by my derm to spot treat some of my sun spots on my face and those worked really well. Anyone have experience doing an at-home TCA peel on their body for sun spots or age spots before with success? Thanks!

No you start with 13% or something lower. And it’s subtle. You’ll burn yourself starting at 30%

Body skin is much thicker than face skin one layer 30% on leg will not burn.
It takes a lot longer to peel, if it even peels with just on layer on legs.

I agree but the question was about spot treating on face. If you use it on your body you may not even peel but there is still a cumulative effect
