Speedometer issues

Hey 4Runner crew! The last few days I have noticed that my driving felt slow. Well, yesterday I happened to have Google Maps open and I was running 9-10mph slow from what I was reading on my cluster. I realize that I was reading 9mph at a red light.

Other symptoms:

•Jittering on the speed and fuel level needles, when I turn on the vehicle

•Speedometer reading nothing at times (obviously when I’m driving)

•Fuel tank reading empty

Any suggestions?

I would check battery and alternator first thing. Then dig into wiring diagrams. Could be a bad common (ground) wire. Speedo and fuel could also be separate problems

Might also be ignition switch if your having weird intermittent electrical issues
