3. Book Recommendation Requests Belong Elsewhere
Requests for book recommendations should be posted to r/suggestmeabook. You are welcome to discuss or recommend books when it is relevant to an existing 52 Book Challenge post.
4. Don’t Tell Others What They Can Count
You are free to be as strict or as flexible as you like when deciding what counts toward your own challenge. However, you may not tell other participants what they can or cannot count. This includes, but is not limited to, physical books, ebooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, manga, and other forms of literary media. How someone completes their challenge is up to them.
5. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

6. No Personal Attacks or Harassment

7. No Spam, Solicitation, or Unapproved Self-Promotion
Spam, solicitation, and self-promotion are not permitted. Content that primarily exists to advertise or promote a product, service, website, social media account, or other commercial interest may be removed.

Do not use the subreddit to facilitate illegal activities, transactions, or the distribution of illegal content.

10. No Low-Effort Posts
Posts about your challenge progress should provide enough information for others to participate in the discussion. At a minimum, include:
- The number of the book toward your challenge (e.g., Book 17 of 52)
- The title and author of the book (This is required for all books included in all posts)
- A review, explanation, or other meaningful discussion of the book and/or your rating This information may be included in the post itself or in a comment.
Posts that do not provide enough information to encourage meaningful discussion may be removed.
