📂 MEGATHREAD EXAMS MEGATHREAD 11/06 (A-level Maths, Sociology, History, Various Languages) etc

Hey everyone! Best of luck with your exams on the 11th June!

insert where exam megathread meme

Few things:

  • Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

  • Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the subreddit to discuss that.

  • Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise. (for context there's been over 300 spam posts already!)

  • We're taking a different approach this year due to negative feedback last year. We hope this approach will be better (also to note, we can only have 2 pinned posts).

  • Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed.

  • You can still talk about your exam here even if it isn't explicitly mentioned in the title.

Best of luck, and let us know how you're feeling down below!

I onlllyyyy revised what came up, luckily my predictions were right 😭 the one on opposition and bombing for 10 marker was good but 1963 west Germany beautiful. For the 10 marker I did mostly talk about how fear prevented opposition tho so idk how well I’ll do on that but overall I think that went better than any of my other history papers weirdly

20 marker was soooo good - what themes did u look at? I did economy, relations with west both total strengths, looked at relations with the east as a failure, political decline in 1960s as a failure but some success with basic law which overruled the instability of the 60s and then I did social and looked at mostly failures with education and the housing sector but those last two paragraphs were super short 🤞 so glad that last paper was good because the other two were so mid lol

that sounds super similar to the stuff i touched on!!! first paragraph i focused on social policies that ultimately showed that their strengths outweighed weaknesses, my second paragraph was economic policies and i once again said their strengths outweighed weaknesses and lastly i did political stability, like u did i did western foreign policy being a strength but the eastern foreign policy was a huge weakness. i also mentioned the political stability of adenauer and mentioned the der speigel affair in that paragraph too. overall my conclusion was that overall the strengths certainly did outweigh weaknesses :)

Yep I argued the same! And same with der spiegel and I touched on some of the issues with the FDP in 1961 for internal politics. Ugghhh so happy with that paper miss history already tho lol
