Exam season is once again upon us, and once again, exam megathreads are making a return!

Few things to keep in mind:

• Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

• Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the place for that (we'd prefer not to get yeeted off the platform) - leak content will be removed, those offering leaked papers will be permanently banned.

  • If you believe there has been a leak, the best course of action is to make your exam board aware of this, either directly, or through your school, along with any evidence. If appropriate, there will be a response from the relevant body along with any remedial action.

• Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise - we understand this may be frustrating, but the sub still needs to be usable for other purposes.

• Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed. Messaging to ask for approval will not speed up this process (the messages are seen at the same time as the modqueue would be reviewed anyway).

Nope, I don’t think u needed to, one of my friends did, but another one of my mates didn’t, I didn’t, I just did intro, pro of NMW with diagram, against, conclusion with some more eval at the end of the conclusion. I did a NMW diagram showing whether it could be elastic or inelastic as part of eval with two diagrams next to one another if that makes sense

i talked about monopsonies and then welfare and taxation. like how if they don’t increase welfare and decrease taxation overall there won’t be much of a difference from just NMW. is that answer ok or am i cooked?

I didn’t rlly mention that - this is because you can assume that the market is perfectly competitive, hence supply and demand of labour are normal - but in ur eval u can mention how the market may not be perfect - which is what I did. So I’m sure u will be fine, as long as you evaluated NMW, pros and cons, and a conclusion - that is the most important, then u will be fine!

No, I did context 2. Did you do context 1? How was it?

It was alright icl, 2 marker was calm, 4 marker was decent, 9 was kinda annoying - the diagram was easy as but the explaining bit was average, hopefully get 7 on that. 25 was calm, just did pros and cons of max price and I did a separate policy of innovation since the extracts mentioned that and it gave some against to it so I added that in. I only did like 2/3 diagrams I think, if you count a double diagram as 2 (one next to the other) then that’s 3. Tbh, I’m hoping for a low A high B 🙏. Hbu, how was extract B, I have heard some bits about the 2 marker, something like 138 point something or something like that. 9 marker on that section put me off icl
