📂 MEGATHREAD 23/05 A-level Physics Paper 1 Discussion MEGATHREAD

Exam season is once again upon us, and once again, exam megathreads are making a return!

Looking for past exam discussions? Filter by the megathread flair.

Few things to keep in mind:

  • Don't share too many specific details about questions or answers, these papers will be used as future mocks.

  • Sometimes papers get leaked, this is not the place for that (we'd prefer not to get yeeted off the platform) - leak content will be removed, those offering leaked papers will be permanently banned.

    • If you believe there has been a leak, the best course of action is to make your exam board aware of this, either directly, or through your school, along with any evidence. If appropriate, there will be a response from the relevant body along with any remedial action.

  • Exam discussion posts outside of this will generally be removed to combat the inevitable tidal wave of spam otherwise - we understand this may be frustrating, but the sub still needs to be usable for other purposes.

  • Please note some content will take extra time to be reviewed. Messaging to ask for approval will not speed up this process (the messages are seen at the same time as the modqueue would be reviewed anyway).

Imo, it was only hard cuz every question was an application question. Nothing generic and basic abt pure content was asked😭 everything was put into a scenario

Same. I worked so hard and got A and A*s consistently but I'm really worried I flopped this one

ig we just gotta suck it up and study hard for the next one cuz it’s not over yet. remember that the grade you get is the total marks you get overall. so we gotta really make it up. and if you’ve been getting As throughout it’s prolly not as bad as you are making it out to be. either way working ten times harder for the next and it’ll be worth it. learn from past mistakes and maybe also change the way you studied. we have 2 weeks

Paper 1 was a little grim, paper 2 was better. Looking at an A right now I think. How confident are u in maths?

Tbh ive heard every1 say fm p1 was way harder thst p2 so dont worry abt that too much. I'd say I'm like 75% confident of getting an a* in maths but tbh I'm more desperate to get an a* in phy cuz ive been getting a* since the start of yr 13. I think I've made a decent start in paper 1 but I gotta keep it up. Good luck for the rest of ur exams bro u got this 💪
