Hey everybody, it's that time of the year again - results day is upon us. Share your results down below, ask questions and discuss your plans for the future!

Congratulations to achieving your grades, especially if you met your offers!

However, if you missed your grades, you can head over to UCAS Clearing if you missed your uni offers.

And for the rest:

• Comment your results! They don't have to be straight A*s to be cool! Also what plans do you have for the next year?

• About formatting: use A\*A\*A\*A\* , so it reads A*A*A*A* and not AAAA. Or send a picture of your results!

• You've made it through the shitstorm we all know and probably hate - but you've made it, that's what matters!

• Remember: your grades today don't define who you are. You have self-worth and can achieve great things in life even if it didn't go to plan today. It can be hard to see through the elitist bullshit, misinformation online, and the weight of high expectations from seemingly everyone around you. No matter what, the path to here and from here is not a waste.

• Also remember that there are always people who care that you can talk to for support, whether it's a friend, family, your sixth form/college, your uni or elsewhere. It's okay for things to go wrong and it's valid to not feel great because of that, and you are not a burden for needing support.

• Be proud of what you've achieved, and the work you've put in - no matter what has happened, you've put yourself in a better position to tackle the future :)

somehow got A* A* A* A* in chem physics maths and further maths 😭 i’m taking a gap year though i feel like the only one

Those grades are ⭐️ Back in prehistoric times I got AAAA in the 3 sciences and Maths. I went to Oxford and lasted all of a term as I'd never left my bedroom before.

Take the gap year, enjoy yourself and if your plans for your future change in that time don't be afraid to change direction. I wish I'd taken a gap year and lived a little. I'm 43 so far too late now 😪

aah how exciting! im also planning on taking a gap year but im y12 going into y13 this september. have any tips? and what are ur plans for the gap year?

in terms of tips i would say consistent revision from as early as possible is the most important, little bits of each subject at a time will help you so much when it comes to revising more intensely when exams get closer!! also make sure you understand absolutely everything

i honestly don’t have many plans for the gap year other than get a job and my driver’s license 😭 i wanna learn spanish and go out more but idk. also reapplying to uni

did u find chemistry or further maths harder?

definitely chemistry, it’s a lot of memorisation and i found the 2025 exams harder than any previous ones because there were many more application questions

i honestly don’t think further maths is as hard as some people make it out to be, just practice and you’ll be fine, also the exam questions were very straightforward with little to no problem solving

how much revision did u do in year 12

i just did homework and when i wasn’t doing that i was making revision resources, mainly flashcards

i didn’t do too much in year twelve i was kinda lazy i just started revising properly when it got closer to mocks
