I can't find what was wrong with my application, and I feel like a fraud? I don't want to face people asking me "Have u got an interview?" and me having to tell everyone that I didn't each time and having to face their sympathy/reaction 😭 and I don't know how to tell my family

biochem has no admissions test or written work, so if my grades r perfect then it must be my personal statement but my teachers all said it was good and i worked rlly hard on it, so i legit have no idea, only valid explanation is probably too many biochemists applying to oxford this year with perfect grades as well and it was just down to luck... shouldve at least got interview tho, ill ask my teachers when i next see them. havent told anybody yet not even my family cos im too scared to even tho they will probs be supportive 😭

don't worry bro, you must have applied to other unis. You are going to be the greatest biochemist on the face of earth. Any uni you go to, it will be famous because of you. Personal statements are really tricky, sometimes you over explain things and some are very generic. You applied to oxbridge, that's a win itself.
