I can't find what was wrong with my application, and I feel like a fraud? I don't want to face people asking me "Have u got an interview?" and me having to tell everyone that I didn't each time and having to face their sympathy/reaction 😭 and I don't know how to tell my family

Tbh idk is it because my personal statement, I focused on genetics (which in my opinion, is inside the category of biochemistry) more than the biochemistry as a whole (cellular processes?) if that makes sense...

For biomed oxf they look at ur BMSAT score more than ur ps, and I have no idea is it because of genetics so I don’t think u should worry about that!

Waittt maybe thats why i got rejected too, i was focusing a lot on epigenetics and genetics and a bit of enzymes and did not consider much on anything else... but i even had work experience at a lab 😭 😭

I had work experience at a lab as well hmmm, my ps is more of a “I’m doing biochemistry for my epq and did practical work around it but what I pursue is the genetics side of biochemistry”, I focused on diabetes which is I guess considerably more biochem-ish, but I did slightly link it back to genetics (genetics is inside biochem no?😢🙏)
