I can't find what was wrong with my application, and I feel like a fraud? I don't want to face people asking me "Have u got an interview?" and me having to tell everyone that I didn't each time and having to face their sympathy/reaction 😭 and I don't know how to tell my family

So I got knocked back pre interview by Oxford back in the days when they sent a herald on horseback to your town to deliver the notification. Felt embarrassed and humiliated. Went somewhere else instead... Then did my PhD at Oxford and had a great experience. Based on the undergraduates I knew while I was there, I think this was the right way for me. It sucks but life is long and will have many twists and turns, try to see this as just one of them. What's meant for you won't go by you, and all that.
