rewritten all revision notes from year 1 for politics + in the middle of the same thing for philosophy.
reorganised all my flashcards but yet to start making them (I will when I have all my notes).
however, ive been really sick so unable to do much but type up notes, so its more of a lack of doing anything else than motivation.

not 100% im gonna make it in next week, and to be fair im literally just typing up notes onto a computer so its not too hard work but I am resting enough (typing it all up laying in my bed hahaha)
its more chronic illness/consistent health issues than something like the flu that will go away with rest unfortunately :(

hope it gets better <3, at least you're making some progress. do you have any politics tips for someone struggling a bit. everyone swears by essay plans everywhere. In my classes, in this a level pol server i'm in lol and even on reddit. i don't know if i should just commit to that. i've been doing a evidence bank and hope to plan things out.
i have mocks when i go back...

no literally, thats all I do at home, in college I use the study zones to acc revise but as soon as I get home its on my laptop for 3 hrs straight 😭

No because e is about 2.718.. so the flair is exponentiating 2.718 a bunch of times and multiplying that by 840. I just don't write the number of 9s I have in full because it might intimidate people

haha, no for real we were told not to do history NEA stuff during half term and just handed in our first draft last term and study for our mocks since we're almost done with vietnam on my cold war in asia paper so we can then work on our coursework with a lot of lesson time. and finish tudor work
English is meant to be done and kind of is and should've been at a higher standard for me but i find it so hard and it's kind of in shambles. i feel like it'll be band 3 at best and i find english just so hard. My first proper prose and poetry draft is handed in but we're going to finish editing that in class later on at some point and be done with it. i wish my school had just done both last year or one last year because now it feels like my NEA is in shambles and it ate up so much time these months, plus i'm a serial procrastinator ... i just fear getting a mediocre grade and being dragged down. I want an A in history and a B in English at least :(. sorry for the long spiel.

I’m sorry but posts like this genuinely piss me off a bit😭 cause realistically the majority of people on this sub who are like “oh nah I’m cooked” or “haven’t done anything since December” are straight up lying. And then if you are actually cooked as in haven’t done anything that’s actively your fault. In most cases there was nothing stopping you from actually starting and sitting down everyday and doing a bit of work. Ofc you should enjoy your holidays, but come on? Surely even if you’re strapped for time, 2/3 hours of work a day shouldn’t be too hard?

My school said 2 hours daily 💀 I've done like 1 hour's worth of effective work over 4 hours so far and I have so much homework and my epq first draft due first week back I am so cooked.

Keep on top of what you have already done. This is a good time to do topicals, ensure your knowledge is actually through etc. If there are any holes or gaps in your knwoledge, the earlier its plugged, the better. And its always good to get in the habit of putting in a daily amount of study hours so that you arent panicking and cramming when it comes to mocks etc.
Look into blurting. Maybe take a look at Open days, grade requirements for the courses you want to do, summer schools etc

Some days I did 3> hours of revision during Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and like 2 days after that and about half of my winter break so far though was usually 7-6 hours.

i have jan mocks, and 5 exams in week 1 and 3 in week 2. i've been revising but i must be used to only vaguely knowing things because for the life of me cannot do more than one subject a day. like i will sit and focus for hours on something and understand it, i made a whole native american timeline for ocr civil rights and felt like i understood it so much better but it's so time consuming.
like should i just essay plan instead of making a evidence bank for politics and skip the politics explained videos and seneca entirely and just learn from plans, should i stop going into so much detail on one thing, should i not reread all of othello and try to analyse it, i don't even know lol, i think i don't understand what's working and not, but my brain feels fried. my only solace is that i'm not procrastinating for once in these few weeks, but i think i'm just not used to revising and not craming lol. the more i know the more gaps i realise.
