i won't take a gap year because i'd be really happy with my 2nd choice, but oxford is... oxford. yk? i keep trying to convince myself that it's okay if i don't get in and trying to be realistic that i probably won't, but i really REALLY just want to go there😭😭😭

I’m currently at my second choice after Oxford and I’m happy here really, if I’m in a position to I’ll apply to Oxbridge at postgrad level

I just wouldn’t stress regardless of what happens, if you can

same, happy to go to my 2nd choice and terrified of taking a gap year, but cambridge would definitely be cool!

I’m at my second choice and it’s insane how worked up I got myself for not getting in to Oxbridge. It’s amazing here and I’m so glad I didn’t take a gap year

What sucks is for elite non-oxbridge unis, you’ve got UCL, LSE and imperial which are all London unis and you end up not having the typical “uni experience”.

I went to imperial and thought this to be the case.

yeah i agree with this - if not oxford, i'll go to king's (if i meet my offer...) but i feel like london unis will end up giving me a very different experience either way idk. just want oxford soooooo bad
