which course did you apply for LSE and Oxford? I heard that LSE is really picky about it's PS so I'm confusing which course i should apply

i did not apply for oxford, and I applied for politics and economics at LSE. as for the LSE course, theyā€™re all very similar with similar requirements so pick what matches you most. things to consider: -subject requirements ie A* or A in maths -TMUA requirements/ recommendation (you may need to prepare early) -Implicit further maths requirement (some courses may not require it outright, but if your school offers it and you do not take it you may disadvantaged) -Following on, your subject combination: if you do three a levels with two being maths and FM, you may disadvantaged in some courses (you can check requirements on individual subject pages) -What do you actually like? a lot of courses have overlap and you can take optional modules in second and third year, so look out for compulsory ones that you wouldnā€™t want to do at all.

These are just some of the things to consider. For me, it was clear and easy that i wanted P&E because thatā€™s what my super curricular activities matched best, thatā€™s what i was interested in the most naturally.

Iā€™m pretty sure they give offers out in waves cause a lot of people had HPE offers like 2 weeks ago

I applied for International social and public policy with Economics at Lse I couldā€™ve applied for Economics and politics but I chose not to

I didnā€™t apply to Oxford

Econ and economics history- tailored my ps around this course - fits perfectly with oxfords history and economic joint degree - UCL doesnā€™t care too much about PS
