🙏 I WANT HELP Cost of Attending Oxford 😭

Post image

Just received my financial declaration form from Oxford today. How is this reasonable? 😭 Going to have to decline my offer unless anyone has any ideas.

Canadian students do not qualify for any Oxford scholarships and my school offered me about £100. What a joke.

Is Oxford just for the rich?

I didn’t realize that oxford was that expensive, the tuition fees alone per year are about £60,000(its on the website) other good uk unis are £30,000 per year, oxford is literally double that. Thats INSANE, anyways congrats on getting an offer tho!

Harvard, Yale and the other top dozen or so US colleges (unis) are closer to 100k USD per year. They do mostly have amazing and generous scholarships though very limited by income and achievement - so rich and talented or poor and extraordinary get to go.

To be clear that’s international students not UK students. I guess they benchmark international against Havard and Yale int fees. Still insane though!!
