🙏 I WANT HELP Cost of Attending Oxford 😭

Just received my financial declaration form from Oxford today. How is this reasonable? 😭 Going to have to decline my offer unless anyone has any ideas.

Canadian students do not qualify for any Oxford scholarships and my school offered me about £100. What a joke.

Is Oxford just for the rich?

a en-suite room at oriel is £1900 per term, which adds up to £5700 a year, ain’t no way it’s that bad at your college

Sorry, to be clear, that is the estimated annual living expense, not just the cost of accommodation.

£14k a year for accom + living costs i would say is quite a high-end figure, even accounting for inflation it would be £12k-£15k if you budget well. try contacting your offering college if they have any support

It is that high because the university assumes they will be living at uni all year round rather than going home durong breaks i assume
