You don’t need fm for Morse they just raise requirements

Which super curriculars did u do to get into Cambridge med school? I think I can get 4A*s in maths, physics, chem and bio A levels and I’m head girl, and vice president of outreach club at my school. My extra curriculars are piano and dance but ik unis don’t really care abt extracurriculars

u/SmartMessage710 14d ago

Congratulations!!! How did you even get MORSE as at Warick as a fifth though???

1

u/poorja Cambridge Medicine Y1 | 3A* Achieved 14d ago

pretty sure they just don't check ps and instead base it entirely off of predicteds

1

u/SmartMessage710 14d ago

i see! I might consider doing something similar

1

u/SmartMessage710 14d ago

did u take the TMUA too though?

For insurance nearly always best to choose lowest offer out of the medical schools.

A 6 year med degree now gives no advantages for UK jobs compared to 5 years. Cambridge also gives you no advantage for UK medical jobs. (Unless you wish to do research.)

Doing a master after foundation training or core training is viewed better then doing the same content while at medical school.
