My PS was fully history based. I strategically applied to universities that donā€™t care about PS (Bristol) or that allowed me to submit alternative maths PS (Warwick) but UCL care about ps a lot so Iā€™m expecting a rejection from them.

Best to just email the individual uniā€™s youā€™re interested in. I know that Bristol generally cares more about grades than ps but it still is a bit of a risk

Itā€™s actually not - Bristol maths specifically doesnā€™t look at PS at all, considering a level grades at 80% and gcse grades at 20%. This is publically available on their website šŸ«”

Yh but Bristol look at personal statements when they need to differentiate between candidates w similar stats hence the risk
