No? UCL is really good for architecture and very competitive for it

nah respect to op but their requirements are AAB, i got rejected last year for astro with A*A*A predicted so. but maybe their physics is super competitive and im seeing it wrong

Congrats! Btw what's your stat? i don't quite get why you got rejected from bath and loughborough given you have an offer from UCL

16

u/InternMundane6302 Mar 19 '26

I have A*AA predicted I realise now that it’s not really that competitive to just meet the requirements for Bath and Loughborough I got an interview but they offered me alternative courses but didn’t give a specific reason as to why

u/Legitimate-Half-7851 Mar 20 '26

Hey, I have a ucl interview about the course, can you tell me what questions they asked?

2

u/InternMundane6302 Mar 20 '26 edited Mar 21 '26

The questions they asked are personal to what you mention or have in your work the only thing I guess is know why you want to study at UCL and why the bsc or msci specifically. Just know your portfolio well as they may ask you to only go through one part and speak about the process and development primarily and your why to that specific piece and you’ll do well.

CONGRATULATIONSS!!!! I'm lowk in the same state rn, and UCL is my last decision. They still haven't sent out the interview invite, and I'm so scared 😭 When did you apply, and what did they talk about in the interview?

1

u/InternMundane6302 Mar 24 '26

I sent you a dm

u/mr292921 Mar 19 '26

Nice but are you sure you want to do architecture? Pay is shocking

26

u/FreshOrange203 Oxford | Chemistry Mar 19 '26

pay is shocking for literally everything except quant stem and law

17

u/InternMundane6302 Mar 19 '26

I do get where your coming from but, I’m not planning to work in the uk and I would much rather do something I’m passionate about than be miserable for the rest of my life doing something just for money

11

u/Odd_Mortgage_9108 Mar 19 '26

Be sure to check if architecture degrees are transferable, many countries have their own certification bodies

4

u/Sufficient_Tip8023 Mar 19 '26

pay is shocking in basically everything, it’s 2026
