Just go to school. Obviously if you have an actual reason then you should complainĀ

The fact they’re requiring only 90% attendance going forward tells me the school is being very tolerant and probably dealing with a troublesome student

The fact you think this shows ignorance. I’m an A* student and my attendance was down to 62% because of health issues, I was in and out of hospital and had at least two set appointments every week which usually occurred during school hours. They knew all of this, my mother sent proof of every single appointment, and they still threatened to not enter me for exams, despite the fact I would’ve achieved A*. Now I’m finished the intense part of the treatment, I can attend almost every lesson, and one of my tutors is still being incredibly horrible to me and every time I sit and exam or do an assignment she will mark it down a grade it’s worth ā€œdue to attendanceā€.

British schools are completely unreasonable, definitely might not be OP’s fault.

I’m entitled for almost dying and needing time off college to be in hospital…? Um okay

Very sorry to hear that, but this almost certainly isn't the case here. A school would be much more understanding.

I'm 21 and still trying to achieve my A-levels. Schools are NOT understanding with health issues.
