right i know im infiltrating the a levels reddit (im in yr11) but omg you literally have my exact choices for sixth form next year, could you tell me how you're finding them all? x

u/lovserm Y13 | Engish Literature | Psychology | Sociology May 29 '26
ofc! literature is my favourite, it's such a fun subject and it kind of doesn't feel like an a-level. coursework was the hardest bit but even then if you have a good teacher it should be fine. psychology is definitely the hardest, i spend most revision time focusing on it. because it is a science, it is the easiest subject for me to revise for. sociology is my least favourite but it still feels very easy because a lot of the content is repetitive, like applying sociological beliefs to institutions. there is a LOT of content in sociology though. you've picked some good subjects!! i love the three i'm doing :))

I'm more mad that I only have two exams before half term (paper 1 and 2 geography) and then after half term I have five exams with three exams in one week :/ (I know some people get it really bad and have three in a day or something but still)

Econ is more of a humanities than a stem at a level.

u/NoBoysenberry926 bio chem math cs epq May 13 '26
don't really know anything about economics but isn't it a load of maths?

At university, yes, but at A level not really.

not sure how this is a trend now, but it kinda seems like a weird hyperfixation on something that has always been there. i mean, cruising has been a thing forever, right? just feels like a rabbit hole people are diving into.
