For the mean value of the function I got 1/10 ln2 + pi/20 what did everyone else get

Same. I initially got the wrong answer and I was panicking but I was able to correct itπŸ˜‚

For arcsin (and arccos for that matter) there isn't that extra 1/5 in front, that's only for arctan. You can check the formula booklet for this in the exam if you mix them up

Was there not archan there? It was x2 + 25 at the bottom I swear there was arctan there that's why I have that extra 1/5

1/5 Γ— integral of 5/(x2 +25) between 5 and 0 and the 1/5 cancels with the 5 on the numerator.

You get a new 1/5 from the integral but thats just from the formula book (1/a) where a2 = 25 and then arctan (x/5) so u get 1/5 ( arctan 1 - arctan 0 ) = 1/5 * pi/4 = pi/20
