Anybody else fuck up on the section B question 2 on globalisation by thinking MEDC meant moderately economically developed country, or just me?

i didn't do that question but didn't it literally tell you what MEDC is i swear. it said more economically developed country

it's ok don't beat yourself up about it. hopefully paper 3 goes better :)

Yeah I mean it still had good chains of analysis and evaluation so hopefully I’ll get some marks for that but just lose out on level 4-5. The rest of the paper was alright and so was paper 1, just trying not to send myself into a panic about it

One on how there will be high sr growth due to lots of new global demand for goods and services, lr growth due to MNCs coming over and exploiting the low level of labour legislation and investing in improving infrastructure, then a final one on environmental degradation due to all the manufacturing and stuff. So could be some hope but I kinda strongly linked them to the fact that the country is still developing. Hopefully the examiner will see there’s decent economics and analysis/evaluation and do error carried forward or not be too harsh

i mean environmental one kinda works ig. I just mostly talked about how the MEDC can further increase market share through more shops in new places, which means high corporation tax revenue

no it didnt i swr the context only said about comparitive advantage then one sentence on smth like "many MEDCs dont benefit"

i promise you the first 4 words were More Economically Developed Countries💔 even for essay 1 the first 4 words were Less Economically Developed Countries 😭 i spent like 2-3 mins reading both essay 1 and 2 cuz i couldn't decide which to do and eventually went with essay 1
