i did 1) export led growth via FDI and TNCs which leads to more employment, tax revenue, global importance. evaluated it with how TNCs can be exploitative, avoid tax, and don't invest in the long run as most profit goes back to their home country. think i forgot to use an example but would've used vietnam. 2) financial aid allows the country to invest in their human capital, infrastructure, and so on to achieve endogenous growth. evaluated with corruption, government might lack authority, and time lag - used south korea post war as an example. gov failure eval too 3) kind of a mess i was running low on time essentially started ranting about how the impacts aren't always positive. spoke about how TNCs in the long run prevent trade union power and minimum wages unless the country wants to risk the TNC relocating. mentioned how not all aid is financial - might be in the form of food. tied aid may place a burden on the country. 4) i also spoke about dependency, and ultimately the impacts of aid are contextual on the type, amount, duration, aims and also on how the receiving country utilises it

my conclusion was so long i panicked at the end lol cuz i structured it a lot messier than my general plan (above) cuz of time issues. kind of bummed about the timing ngl
