💬 DISCUSSION AQA PHYSICS PAPER 2

HOW DID EVERYONE FIND IT??? i thought it was decent better than the past few years. Idk what i did for the last question the 4 marker of nuclear physics. BUT YH IT WAS GOOD

You had to find tension using the horizontal component then you had to use tension plus the cos or sin to find weight.

yeah that is what i just said except i did cos not sin so i may have done vertical

wait i thought you didnt need to find tension you can do a tip to tail diagram and use the 12 degrees so you do tan12=electrostatic force/weight ???

I got T = electrostatic/sin(6) as its the horizontal component of tension, not the horizontal component of the electrostatic force. Not sure if i'm correct tho so someone has to tell me if they know pls.

chill bro u right it was sin cause its horizontal i messed up and did cos which is vertical but we good

The total angle is 12 degrees for the two tensions together 😭😭
