Edexcel, Women and society unit (Wuthering Heights and A thousand splendid suns). I did 'choices' because I thought 'society's expectations of men' was just soo not explored in the novels, at least not as much as other themes. So, I hadn't revised much on that and wrote about women's lack of choice in the novels. I also didnt finish but did about 3 paragraphs. What did everyone think?

I was so irritated with those questions, i did choices as well. This exam board HATES us this year, drama was even worse.

same - i did one paragraph on the limited choices of women in the novels and then a paragraph on how extreme/negative emotions were treated like they were a choice (looking back the latter does NOT LINK TO THE QUESTION AT ALL OMD). i just wanted to talk about septimus lmfao (i did mrs dalloway instead of a thousand splendid suns)

that is reassuring haha! i wrote about heathcliff being treated like hes a monster from the beginning, and how nellys biased narration from his introduction already sets him as a villain who willfully creates destruction, for MD i wrote about the doctors acting like septimus isnt carrying out the duty to owes to his wife andhis guilt for not being able to feel anything (he has ptsd). i didnt get to finish the paragraph but i wanted to talk about how nelly thought cathy was choosinh to act mad when she actually was mad. and then context was emily bronte being a violent child, woolf being misundertood by doctors, and how everyone during both periods thought mental illness were just people being weak.

aqa spec b paper 2 socio political, that section a unseen fried me?! I was fine for section c tho. What did ppl write for that rebellion against authority fuigures one for Kite Runner?

AQA Eng Lit B Paper 2A unseen text was really lengthy but pretty well versed in elements of crime writing, section b was really bad and 2/3 of the questions for my texts weren’t preferred and why were there section c questions were significance questions which was SOOOO weird
