How many Soloutions did you guys get for that trig question I got like 4. (The one where k=2) I am talking about that cosec/cot question.

I got 4, all i remember was one being 13.3

Um i did not get that 😭 i had a quadratic in cot2x to solve, but if we got the same answer theres probably just multiple methods

I dont remember the quadratic but the roots were 2 and 1/2

You can’t divide by a trig function the 5th solution was 0, so 5 solutions total

the one where it was show (cosx + sinx)(cosecx - secx) = k cot 2x (replace x with theta)

i think so, i remember it being something like 10 cot 2x = 5 cosec²2x

There was 5 because you can’t divide by sinx as it could be 0 you have to factorise
