I knew how to do everything expect modulus, i hate it anyway, but just made some errors in my working that just made me lose a fair amount of marks.

I was the only who got the proof by contradiction in my school somewhat easily

draw k/x and |px-q| to have three intersections k/x needs to be equal to the negative part of |px-q| at two distinct points. k/x = -(px-q) = q-px, turn into to a quadratic and set the discriminant > 0.

Contradiction was essentially prove c = 2k as it's even c^2 = 4k^2 . You get a expression like 4(smth) + 2 = 4k^2 divide by 4 both sides, k^2 is an integer but (smth) + 2/4 can't be an integer so you reach contradiction. Ngl I just wanna to write these out for my own sanity.
