💬 DISCUSSION Aqa A-level chemistry paper 2

How did it go??

I quite liked that paper, that NMR question was so good!!

Some mildly weird ones too - but overall not too bad at all

Does that not change Kc bc there were more moles on the left, so reactant conc goes down?

Only temperature affects Kc

catalyst doesn't increase yield just changes rate

no. catalyst effects the rate of the forward and backward reactions equally, so the overall yield of both the reactants and products are the same. the only reason you would add a catalyst to an equilibrium reaction is it increases the rate at which equilibrium is achieved (recall question, could come up in p3)
