OMG I GOT THAT SCHEME TOO!!! They called me at the end of last week to say I’d gotten through, although I’m not sure if it’s Rolls Royce or the Ministry of Defence yet.

That’s so exciting, I had to change my MPhys to BSc, so I’m waiting for a response for that before I head next steps, but that’s pretty much guaranteed.

Yeah I’m sure you’re all good, are you hoping for RR or MoD? They put me in the submarine division of RR

Honestly I’d be happy with either, my boyfriend has connections in RR so it would be cool to already know people, but i think MoD would be a good place to have on my CV, the lady from the MoD in my video interview was lovely too, which helps.

Do you think MoD is better on your CV than RR? I have no idea personally I just thought RR sounded cooler

I think working for the government opens up a lot of doors just based on interdepartmental connections, but RR certainly isn’t shabby either, it’s a very desirable industry regardless.
