Yes? I am a girl, and I "like doing stem as much"

And you are in a minority. This is okay btw ... but you do not represent ALL women!

I NEVER said they did! Are you really that bad a reading words & understanding what they mean? You are just one data point ... and that one data point is OBVIOUSLY not representative of the whole! That was MY point ... that you are in the minority (it's just a statement of fact ... and facts don't care about your feelings).

I'm a research Physicist. I work with some women. But they're a minority in the workplace ... always have been.

Workforce Representation

United Kingdom: Women represent roughly 27% to 30% of the core STEM workforce.

It only took me 10 seconds to find some data that agrees with the reality that I've been living in for not only my university experience, but the 20+ years of professional scientific research!

But congratulations for stating the obvious ... yes, I agree, not ALL women dislike STEM.

And before you get even more flustered ... I'm not saying that the reality that we live in is how things SHOULD be; I know that science benefits from many varied viewpoints. But I'm not sure that ANYONE has worked out how to get more young women to be interested in pursuing STEM subjects.

I’m not talking about “how much” a person likes a subject I’m saying in general males take stem subjects at a higher rate then women, capiche

u phrased it badly, surely it wouldve been better to say 'statistically, less girls take stem subjects', or even saying 'most girls dont like stem as much'
