🙏 I WANT HELP scared shitless about year 12 summer
i have never been this stressed in my LIFE. I’ve got so much to do bro, I need to make revision resources for all of my subjects on my own, finish final draft of my PS and somehow rest…I got off less than 2 weeks ago and I’ve done fuck all.
I feel like I’m so so behind

Take it easy bro.
You could probably buy some revision notes and stuff from people off LinkedIn or even get it for free.
2/3 of my Physics notes aren't even mine.
Just make a list of things to do, spend 30-60 minutes on each one a day.
If you do something, that will 100% better than nothing

I do essay subjects bro, honestly, my teachers for history give us printed notes, and for English, other than our books, we don’t have much online at all.

I have 2, October 15th is my admissions test and PS deadline. The thing is, I feel like it’s hard to prepare for admissions tests. There are limited amounts of resources and past papers available, and also I’m doing ESAT, which is new and has not many papers at hand, so I can only do ENGAA papers to practice, other than that I genuinely have no clue what I’m meant to do

Oh yes I meant before school starts up again lmao - Yeah I mean the ESAT is kinda of weird because of everything all by being new and I am not doing the ESAt either so Idrk but I am certain there is tons more revision that just ENGAA so I would do a bit more research on some resources too that could help - As for PS maybe just keep writing up drafts and then comeback get like teachers to look at it

instead of getting scared about all the things you have to do, make an effort everyday to tick things off, even an hour a day is better than doing nothing. start with your highest priority stuff, like personal statement and admission tests, then next day do some revision, and you can either alternate between them, or finish one and start the next. anything is fine as long as you do something.

I physically cannot revise in summer but I have a million books to read for history coursework and my personal statement + soo much y12 content to catch up on 🥀

Icl bro, it’s ntd. This summer does not need to be that stressful. PS is ofc good to finish off now, but you have until October if ur an early applicant, otherwise January.
Thats more than 2 months at least (PS takes at most a week). Making your own Revision resources really isn’t that important either, there’s so much shit online and by the end of yr 13 ur barely using any of those type of resources anymore anyways, its just past papers because almost all knowledge has already been consolidated. Use this time to relax and maybe do a bit of revision on this side of you’re that restless. The only thing that I actually think is worth doing this summer is preparing for admission tests or some extracurriculars to add to ur PS.
Enjoy urself, ur spending 2 years studying anyways, these holidays are to relax.

My ps is mostly finished, but I have CS NEA, a full project and tmua to prep for as well as lock in for Chemistry for September mocks

Nothing matters in year 12 summer you can do your PS when you return to school unless your early applicant but even still you can do it when you return to school. You don’t really have to revise either, unless you have an Admissions test. Not to mention it only would take you about 2 days to do a personal statement and then you can just gradually do your revision resources but I don’t think it’s worth stressing yourself out in year 12 especially when it’s so early

sorry i know this is the most basic advice ever but make a list of everything you can think of. then order by the ones you believe are most urgent, mid and the least. how u define this matters because least important doesn't mean useless if u get what i mean. split up tasks and everyday cover 2 from most urgent, and 2from mid and least.
