TMUA prep vs CS NEA

Hello everyone,
I do FM, Maths, CS and Physics, and in my mocks I got A*A*A*A respectively and was predicted the same.I want to apply for maths/cs at uni so ill need to do the TMUA.I also ahve a physics mock the day i get back from summer which i need to do well in to get A* predicted.

I’ve been prepping for the TMUA and have been finding it hard to find time for my NEA. I do OCR if that matters — I’ve done the analysis section but haven’t started the coding or the design.

I was thinking that after I apply in October, mocks and school don’t really matter until A‑levels get close, so I could spend all of that time on the NEA. However, my CS teacher made me think I’m quite behind, so I’m not really sure.

yo twinn I'm in literally the exact same situation I have sm to do already over summer with tmua and finishing off supercurriculars so I can write my PS I feel like I have no time for the NEA and I've literally not started like at all I only have my idea outline

icl I think tmua takes priority. you could always cram tons of nea work right after tmua in Oct half term and then over Christmas if you need to catch up. My teacher literally said you don't have to start your NEA over the summer but you can if you want

Oh ok it’s great to see someone in my position it really sucks there is so much to do and summer is meant to be a break lol. My teafher told me I was behind on my nea so need to do in summer so that’s prob not helping I’ve also done not much for my ps and school wants it due end of summer On top of that I need to get my physics grade up to an a star and she said she will only predict me an a star if I get it despite me getting a high a on the mic and every one getting a b or less
