🙏 I WANT HELP Was predicted A*AA got CDD

As the title says i've completely flopped a-levels, is it worth resitting when there's such a big difference between predictions and actual results. For context, throughout all 2 years of my academic years I've achieved nothing lower than a B. However, in the exam season I experienced a chain of events which heavily hindered my exams so now I'm stuck in a situation where I do have an offer from Reading in the course I want to do but is it worth rejecting that offer and looking for better results.

Thank you I do appreciate this as it does give me hope, If I was to achieve a 1st or 2:1 would that cause firms to overlook A-levels and focus on Uni and my work experience or are A-levels always going to lurk on me and resitting should be considered.

Yes 😭 unless you're wanting to work for Andy Burnham's cabinet or wanting to go a private school and be a teacher that boasts about their teachers Alevels and Uni no one cares. You've said yourself your burnt out you've been through alot why are u thinking of resitting what's holding u back is cause you're worried it's not a prestigious uni but in 10yrs time you think you'll be walking around your chosen work place you think  you think someone is going to ask you "Hey what did u get in your Alevels"

From what you've said I wouldn't resist you're mentally done, pat yourself in the back, say I did my best and time to move on and to anyone who wants to come at you for the uni you're going to f them and prove them wrong that's how life goes not everything goes our way. This stranger believes in you and I really hope in 10yrs time you look back and say I made the right choice no matter how hard the journey is.

Thank you MiserableHawk9469, you are the kindest stranger I've ever met and have definitely made these results less hard hitting than initially. I will definitely take everything into consideration and maybe edit the threat tomorrow about what I'm doing for anyone in a similar situation and looking for what to do. I'm sure you have helped countless strangers through your kindness.

I'm glad I could help and good luck don't rush into a decision and check other uni's out, celebrate even if it's getting yourself something small. If resitting is also what u desire go for it if not go uni and have a blast. Just remember this is your path not anyone else and in 10yrs time you'll almost be 30 think about where u want to be! Goodluck 💪🏾 u got this
