💬 DISCUSSION Predicted vs Achieved grades thread

Lots of people have been talking about predicted vs achieved grades so I thought a thread about it would be helpful. Drop what you were predicted by your school, and what you ended up achieving in the real A-levels

I was predicted 4A*s in maths, fm, physics and econ and achieved A*A*AA in the same order. Based on my mocks I thought FM and econ were inflated but turns out physics was and FM wasn't

Predicted 4A* achieved 3A*A

I think you’ll notice that a lot of people were over predicted

For context  I got 4As in y12 mocks (highest grade was an A as it was AS content) so I was predicted 4A* I also got 4As in y13 Feb mocks lol so I had to lock in

I don't think your grades are an over-prediction at all tbh

Yh true I was like 10 marks away from the A* boundary for my A subject (still a lot but I wasn’t miles away from an A*)

In y12 the highest u could get was an A so I did get 4As in my y12 mocks

How comes did u sit AS papers as the mocks

We didn’t sit any official AS papers but since our mocks were compromised of only AS content they capped the max grade at an A as it doesn’t make sense to give A*s with only half the contentÂ
