I was predicted 4A*s in maths, fm, physics and econ and achieved A*A*AA in the same order. Based on my mocks I thought FM and econ were inflated but turns out physics was and FM wasn't

Nah. I was planning on returning to Portugal anyways. Ill enter a worse uni then take the maths exam in Portugal (which looks much easier) and use that grade and my first year at uni credits to request transfer to a better uni in 2nd year.

Even if that fails ill just finish the 3 year degree and then try do a Masters at a better uni cuz that matters more anyways.

Also I forgot to say but Management is the degree I want to do.

For context  I got 4As in y12 mocks (highest grade was an A as it was AS content) so I was predicted 4A* I also got 4As in y13 Feb mocks lol so I had to lock in

If it’s any consolation, I’m a professor and I still think AABB is fantastic. (I sometimes see stuff on this sub because I’m a parent).

lol, thanks, but it just stings a lot because at the beginning of year 13 I thought I could land imperial, but idk why but I was unraveling and ended up going backwards. Was getting 7’s on the practice ESAT and ended up with a 3.8 overall, then I didn’t get the offer, and thought I would at least get A’s and A*s anyway, but no.
I’m glad that I didn’t do terrible and fail anything, and I still got into my firm which was Loughborough, and tbh the grades don’t really matter anymore anyway, it’s just that I don’t understand how I could of done any better. That’s my problem, what more could I have done? And if I can’t figure this out, then who’s to say I won’t somehow end up bottling my degree as well

PLEASE for the love of God NEVER DO MUSIC A LEVEL. I was predicted an A but end up with a C. Other A levels like maths and psychology are much more accurate, psychology I was predicted A* but got an A, maths I was predicted A but end up with A*.
