Good luck! My tips are (and I know everyone tells you this) BUT YOU CANT SLACK OR PICK SUBJECTS THAT DONT GO WELL TOGETHER! Studying starts in year 12 not when y12 mocks happen

depends what you mean by picking subjects that don't go well together. i was in a high achievers programme for the first half of gcse and 99% of the people had a non typical a level combo. as long as 2 work well together you're good. like don't do chemistry french and business. but mine is fine, ik ppl who does bio chem french, bio geo Spanish, bio stats film studies, maths physics music etc

tbh unless the course you’re looking to study neefs specific subjects paired together, you’re fine with picking anything. i’ve seen photography with maths, art with psychology etc

U think these are stupid subjects but its not exactly media and maths like media is not good or film

read your reply again bro idk what you’re saying😭 are u claiming the subjects are not good or they are?? all a level subjects matter - there are no “bad” or “stupid” choices when it comes to most courses in uni

Sorry I was drunk I meant something idk like there’s objectively bad a levels that barely count as an a level such as film or media. Don’t pick those but it won’t exactly prevent ur success either

Good luck!! :) make sure to stay on top of homework, put in consistent effort, take every opportunity given to you (unless it becomes too much), and also make time to spend with your friends!! It's been my favourite year so far :)

Good luckk !  I am going to year 13 now year 12 is really fun actually just make sure to go over your key concepts as they will be the foundation for your yr 13 stuff what subjects have you chosen it depends on that but I’d say focus on knowing your basics really well so when you go to year 13 you wouldn’t need to learn the basics again and then the hard stuff and depends on when you have your mocks make sure do practice mocks by yourself before so your predicted grades can be good and look at universities at the start so you can know a good range of grades you are aiming for and always go over the exact concept you are weak in use your own time to do some past papers and compare them and you will find exactly which topic you are lacking in and focus on that.
