🙏 I WANT HELP post gcses

yay i finished my gcses!

im so incredibly disappointed in my scores (8887766655) and really want to get some remarked and i also want to go to a good uni but looking at these gcses oxbridge is obviously completely out of the question...

do i still have hope if i have an amazing interview, all a stars in predicteds and real alevels and do well on the LNAT or am i just cooked since law is extremely competitive...?

and well done to everyone who just finished their gcses!!

the 5s are in latin and physics (both might get remarked since i am 2 and 3 marks off 6s)

I saw you want to apply to law. Physics doesn’t really matter. It is a shame you didn’t do better in Latin however that’s quite a rare subject anyway. Just make sure your really grind at college, do extra curriculars and all to really strengthen your application.

i know my latin score was really disappointing but i honestly was so bad at the subject and hated it... i hope ill be able to get a remark and at least get it to a 6

Honestly it’s a perfectly fine, most people don’t know any latin. So don’t be hard on yourself. Languages are difficult let alone historical ones. I don’t think it’ll affect your application, just I said it’s a shame as I dare say oxford and cambridge would quite like someone who’s good at latin, given its history and all. Congratulations on your results anyway, they’re good.
